BI lebih pesimistis dalam menetapkan target pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia di 2010 ketimbang pemerintah. Pemerintah menargetkan pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia di 2010 sebesar 5,5%, sedangkan BI 5,2%.
